Functional Weights

In our Functional Weights class, participants engage in exercises that mimic real-life movements to improve strength, stability, and mobility. This type of workout typically incorporates a variety of equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, and medicine balls. Exercises focus on multi-joint movements like squats, lunges, presses, and pulls, emphasizing proper form and technique to enhance functional fitness. Functional Weights classes aim to help individuals build strength for everyday activities, improve balance, prevent injuries, and promote overall well-being.

Gym Mix

A mixture of different types of training on different days - Strength training, hypertrophy, plyometrics and everything between. Hypertrophy is muscle growth achieved through targeted resistance training, resulting in increased muscle size, strength, and overall development. Plyometrics, or jump training, is a dynamic exercise method that focuses on explosive movements to improve power, speed, and athletic performance. It involves rapid muscle lengthening and contraction, enhancing the muscles' ability to generate force quickly. Plyometrics enhances agility, vertical jump, sprinting ability, and explosive power. Proper form and gradual progression are crucial to minimize injury risks.
